headlight restore

Oh man i have the same problem with my ap2 headlights.. I sanded them down with 1500 and used turtle wax to buff the light out by hand. They still look hazy!. So as i read ^^ i will need to go with 2k and 3k grid with a buffer to polish them out much better.. Hopefully this works.

You'll need an abrasive polish to get rid of scratches caused by sanding paper...
Don't know if Turtle Wax will do the trick...

Well the stuff i bought is a headlight repair kit and it came with small sanding blocks, lubricant spray and wax or compound. So what i did was use 1500 grid sand paper with the water instead then buff it by hand, but what you're saying makes lot of sense. Thanks for the info. I will be doing this on sunday.

Def. the high grit sandpaper, random orbital w/med. polish, then light polish, then seal/wax should do the trick.
