The best product to use on tops is RENOVO. I have used it for a while when stationed overseas and now I just bought some for my new 03 from A and M motor sport. They have Cleaners and Protectants. have you actually use the color dye on the ST? mine faded some what and I want to get it and restore it back to it's original black.

I have used the product on the S2000. I use the cleaner and the Re-Proofer. The dye is used on cloth tops and have used that on an older 96 z3 and it looks new. ( Cloth Top). A friend of mine used the Vinyl cleaner and conditioner and then the reproofer on his 95 Miata. The top was garbage and now looks new. It actually was looking almost grey and white in some areas.Now it looks like a new OEM top. I use it on the 01 and 03 and I have had great results.
