It's vinyl. You can clean it with any car wash soap.

need help.

i have white spots from left over residue from wax. around the bottom plastic lining under the plastic window. i have tried soap with a tooth brush to brush it out,. when wet, the white seems to go away, but once the car dries, the whiteness comes back.

Use liberal amount of Dawn and a semi-stuff brush (with think amount of dawn)...the dawn should break-up the wax/oil... Wash when finished.

DO NOT USE ANY CAR SOAP!!! Please do not listen to this post ( no offense jschmidt). Although, soap is not recommended on this top. You should use Porsche's shampoo and conditioner top cleaner. I know this topic has been posted before and you can find many threads on this. However, I have been using Porsche's top shampoo and conditioner as many others here have and have had excellent success. My top looks better than new. If I can find a site for you to order it from I'll let you konw. Here's a recent thread on this for your review https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...ght=top+cleaner Good luck and happy Stooking!

How about Amazing Roll-Off? I have a bottle and never had a chance to use it until now.

Thanks,

I've had good results with low end vinly cleaner/protector. Use my own methodology though. Mfg suggest use of turkish towel etc., whatever. After initial hose down of car, top is sprayed liberally with product, then worked into suds with soft brush purchased at ADAP (no plug intended), then rinsed away. Top is darker after wash and looks new. Oh yeah, it IS new at 5mos old, but New England weather definitely shows up on cars.
