I had the same problem as well. A couple of months ago, my wige bought Armour All Multi-Purpose cleaner. The stuff worked extremely well on the top and it is also great for the interior as well. Hope this helps.

How about that Orange/Citrus cleaner that Billy Mays sells on TV?

Its made of real natural ingredients so it must be good.

I get my Tequipment supplies from Auto Fanatics. The shampoo will set you back $7.95

FWIW I find their customer service the best on the web

I found using Lexol's Vinylex gives the top a deep rich black look with just a hint of a sheen.

I use the Porsche's top shampoo and conditioner as well. I think it is brilliant

If you do get it don't use as much as it says on the bottle - a little goes a long way!

Do s2ki members have the discount code for club members? I read that banner they had and the president of the club needs to contact them and all members can get 10% off any order. Sounds great if we have it.

I have and used Porsche top cleaner/conditioner. However it is formulated for canvas tops and not PVC. Canvas is is cloth and requires special type of care. PVC is completely deferent and has no relation to canvas other than convertible tops can be made of ether. I'm not going to clam Dawn is not harmful, but using Porsche top cleaner could be a bad idea also.

I use Amazing Roll-off, leave it on for about three minutes, then I spray it with a pressure washer from a distance. It takes bird droppings right off.

Is the Tequipment and the Porsche stuff the same? I went to the Auto Fanatics website and I am a little confused on this. Also, is the Tequipment product SAFE for our tops? i.e. vinyl

I use P21S Bodywork Conditioning Shampoo to wash the car and to clean the top. This was recommended from this site:
http://www.properautocare.com/cabriotopcare.html

I would not use the Porsche products because the Porsche top is fabric.
