Default HELP wax on soft top

I was waxing with a orbital buffer thing and I guess I got some overspray from the liquid wax on the soft top.a bunch of drops everywhere.... I didn't notice it until about a day later... I tried "picking" at it alittle.. but it didn't come off.. then I tried alittle scrubbing with water and a rag to no avail.. do I have any other options? a while back I had gotten some house paint on there (again little drops... from a construction truck) but they actually came off over time... anyway has this happened to anyone else? opinions please! thanks guys!

tim- it depends on the product that you used...

some things to try- try each on a small area and if you find one that works, go for it:

1. clay- try "blotting" with a clean clay

2. oxiclean (very carefully) with a soft old toothbrush

3. http://www.meguiars.com/estore/product_det...leaner&sku=M-39

4. peanut butter (warm it in a microwave first)- rub on and rub off... this would probably work, but would be my last choice cause the removal can be not so simple

5. vinylex, raggtopp cleaner, or 303- with a brush

6. roll-off

once you solve this, pm me and i will badge you!

there is some minor diff... i think 40 has some conditioners and 39 is just a cleaner if i remember correctly.

39=cleaner, 40=cleaner/conditioner
netx time tape off the top or at least put a towel over it.
