i need help!
what do i do when both sides of my pad become really dirty from polishing my car?
im using a porter cable w/ edge 2000 pads, and menzerna polish.
one side became dirty w/lots of build up after i polished both fenders and the hood, i flipped it over and the other side went after i finished with the doors and ht.
should i clean them and continue? can i continue w/out cleaning?

i use a spur if the pad is becoming caked.
this is what a spur looks like:

you can use an old comb or anything similar if you dont have a spur. make sure you dont use too much polish (can be a cause of caking)
and you can stop and clean the pads too (i dont- i just spur the pad)
