Default Random orbit polisher question

What do you guys use to clean the wax filled foam applicators of your random orbit polishers? The fact that it is wax simple water wont 'cut' it. I was thinking Dish soap? I dunno.

Thanks

Chris

The first set of pads I ever ordered was from Autogeek.net. I got their kit which came with their XMT Pad Cleaner spray that works incredibly well.

I first soak my pads in an all purpose cleaner/water mixture. I then put the pads on the PC and spin them at speed 3-4 and use a pad brush to clean them off. Got all of my products from detailersdomain.com

This is what I use. works great. after i use this, I rinse the pads in warm water, then let the air dry, with the backing of the pad facing up.
Tat is important, so all the moisture does cause the glue to loosen and seperate the backing from the pad!!

and spinning them on low speed is a great way to dry them...

but keep the speed down- from personal experience, if the speed gets too high the pad just flies apart!!

it was fun watching it happen, but it really does just pull itself apart--

i keep mine at the lowest speed- "1" for the dry process

I used "Snappy Clean" from I got from CMA. Just pour the powder in regular water, soak pads, squeeze, rinse, dry. My pads look and feel like new.
