First time washing an S2K here....just wondering how do you wash the top? What shampoo, cloth or brush etc...in the manual it states not to use high pressure water because it will remove the waterproofing layer or something. And what should I use to protect it?

 

303 Aerospace protectant every 3 months to keep it looking like new. I wash mine w/ a regular wash mitt and Zymol carwash.

 

i wash mine every couple of years, whether it needs it or not (and usually it doesnt!- it lives under that boot thing)!!
use the same shampoo that you use on the car with a brush- and after drying, be sure to use a good protectant (303, as seminole says is good, and so is vinylex).

 

MAKE SURE THE TOP IS CLEAN BEFORE APPLYING THE PROTECTANT!

303 makes a good cleaner as well, and they sell them both in a kit.
