Default How do you clean INSIDE of the convertible top?

How do you guys clean the inside if your convertible top? I don't use the boot so the inside of my top is kinda dirty....also it has a reddish tint in some spots....(sun fade? sunburn?) how can i help this?

I was considering just water and a towel and then perhaps some 303

thanks!!!

I take the vacuum cleaner to it every now and then, might have to give the 303 a try.

Is the interior of the roof vinyl or does it have cloth backing?

On the inside, I "tape it off." Take a piece of masking tape or duct tape, tape one end to the other, slip it around your fingers, and use the sticky edge to remove dust, etc. Like a lint roller, except you don't go through $5 refills all the time.

I personally don't use 303 on the inside...it doesn't see too much sun so I don't feel the need to 303 the inside, but of course it wouldn't hurt.

The front panel of mine (that's exposed to the sun since I don't use my boot that much either) has gotten dusty also. Is 303 safe on that cloth on the inside? Given that this spot does get exposed to the sun quite a bit seems like there should be SOMETHING that we can protect it with?! Scotchguard maybe?
