How do you clean matte colored wheels
I have a set of the regular silver CE28's. The color finish is this matte paint. Everytime I wash my car I scrub the wheels with a wet/soapy cloth, but I've noticed that the brake grime is getting worse and I can't seem to scrub it off.
Do you guys have any hints/suggestions in cleaning wheels like mine?
thanks,
chikai

couple of things to try
clay bar
wd-40
kaboom (not safe for chrome or anodized finish).
i'll also add, kaboom, i wouldn't use that often, maybe once a year. Really, i only use it for cleaning the inside of wheels. It literally melts the brake dust and road grime off and you could eat off the wheels afterwards. Use it at your own risk though because it could really screw up the wrong finish. I used it on painted/polished Carlsson wheels before I packed them up for the winter and they looked brand new.
