Default How does dust get under the car cover?

When I bought my car I would always find that after a week or so of not touching the car and leaving it in the garage, there would be a large layer of dust over it. Then I bought an OEM dust cover, but when I take it off after about a week, there is still a bit of dust there, though not as much as before. How does it get there? I bought the car cover used, but I vacuumed the inside of it, so I don"t think it"s coming from there. I simply use some Crystal Mist to get the dust off with a microfiber cloth. Is that OK?

not positive that i follow what you are saying, but it sounds to me like you are experiencing lint from your cover... which is normal

i have two honda covers and they both still leave lint after five years.
dust the car off with a calif duster, then use a good detail spray with mfs. if the car is really clean then you might only need to dust.
