How often do you all wash your car? Also, how much time do you spend washing it (no wax, just wash)?

I wash at least once a week, and it takes me 1 to 1.5 hrs to wash it.

I try to only drive it when the weather is good, so I may do it every 3 weeks. When I am driving it regularly I wash it once a week. Wax it every couple months.

Unfortunately, my car is already dirty only after 2 days of washing it. You park in the wrong area where there's dust, birds, sap, etc and it's dirty already.

I basically wash my car on an as needed basis (when it's dirty). I wax my car everytime I wash it. I have other cars, so I drive my S2000 on nice days. I garage my car every night with a car cover over it to prevent dust buildup. I usually cover my car when I take it to work (besides dust preventing dust buildup, nobody knows what it is at GM when it's covered and I don't like to draw attention to my Honda because I'm a GM employee).

I've owned my car for almost a month and I washed and waxed it twice.

usually wash every other week... takes about an hour and a half or so (detail wash).
have gone for over a month and the car still did not look bad (it lives under a cover, or in the garage at home when i am not driving it). it gets brushed off everyother day or so. and once in awhile i use spray touch-up detail stuff.
its a black car!!!

A basic wash takes me 30 minutes which includes running a chammy over it..

To do the full monty takes me between 1.5 and 2 hours.

But it's worth every minute.

I wash it in 'as need' base. I take a gallon of water, silicon base soap(?), and a bucket. Then, go to self wash place. Since 10 quaters gives me 4 minutes of water, soaping it and washing takes about 8 min. Then using 'California water balde', wipe all water off and use soft towel to dry it. All takes about 15 min. After that, drive back to home - I call it 'spin dry'. And finally, I wax it which takes about an hour. So I take about 1.5 hrs as my S2000 needs or once a month.

cheers,

Wash with Meguier's Car Shampoo and lambswool mitt, rinse, dry with Absorber, wash windows and wheels, put on layer of Zaino Z-6, vacuum interior, wipe down interior.

Grand total of 1hr 45min every Friday. Add an hour if it is time for a layer of Z-2.

My favorite thing is to wake up on Saturday mornings and pull a beautiful, perfect Spa Yellow S2000 out of the garage into the sun. Can't wait for Friday to do it all again.
