How Often Do You Do a Full Polish Job ?

Yea, the key will be properly washing and drying it. Do this and I'd say polish only every year.

Obviously you'll accumulate scratches over the year, but you can't have it perfect continually. My car is white and I polished it in the fall of last year. Although when the light hits it I can see a swirl here or there, it still looks great!

The thing that got me was going to a meet and seeing the ridiculous amount of swirls on other owners cars. Unlike you and me, most just care if it's shiny or not.

I swear, Detailing knowledge has been more of a curse to me than anything.

Lambs wool wash mit (very slimy )
grit guard

No more swirls.

3 step polish/glaze/wax takes me 8 hours start to finish (so far).

exactly...these wash mits are overlooked i think.
