How to remove cone marks from AutoX

Default How to remove cone marks from AutoX

I recently did my first AutoX. Unfortunately I did hit some cones . When I got back there was a long black mark that came from the cone on the bottom side of the car. What can I use to remove this. I have tried Z6 but it did not work well. I really want to avoid rubbing compound or some other abrasive. Any ideas. Thanks. Rob.

I usually use Z5 to remove it.

Hope I get little/no flames on this one, but so far I have used WD40 on a cloth diaper- a little elbow grease added and it works like a charm! Followed by a thorough wash/wax

Z1 works pretty good, too and it's GOOD for the car.

I've used Meguiars Scratch-X with success on cone burns.

Pro-Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish.

Amazing for removing rubber and cone marks. I use it after every track day to remove the little black streaks of rubber that seem to end up all over the car.

You'll find it at a Honda Motorcycle dealer as it's a motorcycle product; I've seen some Honda car dealers carry it as well.
