You know you've got it really bad when you keep ordering different products to see what "looks best" and have to strip everything off to start over to get a "true sense" of what you're seeing.

If you want to really make your black pop, buy some Pinnacle Souveran ($70)... At least it smells better than P21S

your other choice-

i use zaino (any synthetic will do)- you can coat that stuff for ever!
i still top it with p21s- so that might be a compromise that allows you to keep your product-

i have a black car too...
Actually zaino seems to max out at about 12-15 coats... which is pure madness if you get that many on the car in one season.

(for the record I have 4 coats of zaino)... that seems to last me about 3-6 months.

Yes, SEVEN times. I've washed it maybe 8 times. I was also in NY for a week and I just got back from a week in Mexico, so I think my schedule is holding true.

The basic situation is that after I wash it, it seems to expect more. My other car gets alot of attention for negative behavior (it is old and things break more often), the S2000 gets my attention by being easy to wax.

I've only used wheel wax three times on it so far, I think that is a far less creepy statistic.

i feel your pain...

hello, my name is wanabe-
its been 16 hours since my last detailing.
all i can think about is how soft the paint feels and how those rims shine!
i admit that i am powerless over the urge to detail!
