i see more and more swirls each time i wash my car.
my washing method is first spray water then spray foam using foam gun i bought from autogeek rinse it down, and wash it with sonus wool wash mitt, sonus car shampoo using 2 bucket method. i wash in circular motion.
i wash my microfiber tower and wash mitt each time i use. i dont know why im getting swirls. anybody got a clue what is causing the swirls? its driving me nut.

First thing I would change is I would move the mitt in straight lines not in circles.

Also, do you have a grit guard in either of your buckets?

Do you use more than 1 mitt? I usually use one mitt for the upper parts of the car and a second one for lower parts.

Also, what kind of MF towel are you using to dry?

How do you wash your MF towel and wash mitt?

I've never seen it in an auto parts store. Black Magic and Rubbermaid make a bucket which some people have seen locally that has a sort of grit guard built in. IMO these buckets are not as effective as the real grit guard. I think Wal-Mart sells the Rubbermaid bucket if you're interested though.

yup- wash it front to back... (not circles as mikeyc indicates)
and do a swirl removal so you have a "clean slate"!

if you decide to do the swirl removal, let us know and we can give you tips and instructions.

Tyson, I got my 5 gallon bucket from target. It came with the grit guard, and I'm pretty sure it was less than $10 when I bought it over a year ago
