I've got an 07 and before I started using the wrong product on the door panels I thought I would ask if they are leather and or vinyl? To me they look like a combination of the two. Is this the case?

On my 06 anything perforated is leather everything else is vinyl.

 

I use this leather treatment I got from the Harley dealership. It does not get all slippery. You just rub it on evenly let it sit for for a few minutes then wipe it off. It leaves the leather with a matte finish not all shiney. I forget the name of it, but comes in a white jar....LOL. As for the plastic i just use a semi damp cloth.

 

I use Hein Gericke HG-1 Leather cleaner / conditioner on all my leather stuff and Armor All on the vinyl. Over the years I have had good results from both. Bike riders that wear leather riding jackets may recognize the Hein Gericke name. I started to use it years ago when I bought my HG leather jacket for my sportbike riding. I did not own a 01. I almost bought a 02, but the deal went sour.
