It's about time!
Well after applying that much wax, I realized just how much better the Concours buffing towel really is. That thing just glides over the wax while at the same time removes it. After taking half of the wax off I wanted to try my green Sonus Der Wunder Polishing towel (which, before this job, I preferred over the Concours). I only got to finishing the other half of the trunk before I gave up using it. That thing just sticks so much, and it was a bit harder to remove the wax with.
Well, without further ado:

Looks good, but I hope you realize you wasted a lot of wax in the process. Putting the wax on heavy will not result in a thicker layer of wax on your car. Plus putting it on thick like that makes it take longer to haze.

I did not know you were suposed to leave it like that for hours then wipe it off.
I always put it on then wipe off a few minutes later.

I didn't know ANY wax was supposed to be left on for more than 5 minutes. I also thought that wax cures faster in colder temps, thus the reason you're not supposed to apply wax in direct sunlight (i've tried, no dice). Can anyone chime in on this? From my knowledge, which is limited, letting the wax dry and letting it cure are two different things. Wax dries in minutes (if you're surface is cool), but it cures in hours. Leaving wax on like that just leaves opportunity for dust/dirt to cling to it.
