Default LINT from car cover

At the risk of sounding obsessive...
Has anyone found a way to keep the Honda car cover from linting all over the car?

I don't have a garage right now, so my beast sits in the drive covered every night. I wash every weekend and wax regularly, but the car never stays clean because of the freakin' LINT.

I've washed the car cover half a dozen times and dried it until there was nothing in the lint trap, but I can't seem to stop the LINT.

Help!!!

What kind of cover do you have? I have a wolf cover and it works fine. I have to wipe the car off when I remove it but this is a minor problem.

If you are THAT obsessive (your term), then go one step further and get a large California Duster to quickly take the lint off when you uncover the car.

i have two honda covers- and it took about a year or so until they stopped linting.
during that time, i just dusted the car often... having a black car makes the problem even worse!
i also put the sun visors down, as they were the worst collectors of lint. the new leather visor covers would fix that though.
i still get a very small amount of lint after i detail the car (it is covered every day, and even in the garage at work), but nothing like i used to get.
another hint is to get a really good vacuum cleaner for the rug area behind the seats (the lint is hardest to remove there).

Thanks -- those are all good suggestions. I have been afraid the California Duster would scratch the paint, but I guess that's what it's for...

I've been using a lint roller on the visor covers, but lowering them should help a lot.

Awesome! Thanks for the duster instructions. And I'll check out the visor covers -- I'm quickly becoming a Rick's Frequent Shopper.
