it had been a very long time since i used a machine to apply carnuba (have been using synthetics with the machine since i got this car)...
forgot what a great experience that was!
had an old p21s that had some grime on the top, so i wasnt about to use it on the body of the car... when i remembered that we used to drop out the carnuba from the container and rub the bottom on a pc pad- decided to give it a whirl-
washed, polished and zainoed my car-
then pulled the p21s out of its container (hint- do this carefully... i banged it a bit too hard and accidentally hit it with the container and splintered it a bit- the stuff is pretty soft!)
once out of the container, rub it on the p.c. pad-
i was able to apply it to a larger surface than i would have by hand (did the whole trunk and a bit more, as i finished- my "assistant" began removing. and i moved onto another section.)
did 2 coats of p21s over the zaino- tried to get some pics, but the weather is rotten so not sure how they will turn out, but if at all decent will post them up.
my car is black glass on wheels!

Damn you wanabe! Seeing your pics always makes me regret not getting black If I had known I was going to be this anal about detailing, I wouldn't have hesitated to get the berlina. Oh well, maybe next time . Great job, as always!

yup, used the black (they call it gray) pad for the application...
no cutting action.

i also did some polishing (used a paint cleaner) first with the white pad (mild cutting action).

What buffer do you use to apply that? I have never done anything but hand polish/waxing but lately I'm thinking it's time to start looking into a buffer because I am amazed at some of the results.
