Default Magic Wax

So my boss wants me to start washing and waxing their cars. Currently a Bently GT Convertable and Toyota Prius. Soon to be added a Ferrari, don't know which one thought, but its on order. They moved from Marina del Rey to Newport beach, and always had their cars detailed by Magic wax detailing company. www.magicwax.com. and they wanted me to follow in their footsteps. They currently live in an apartment with an attached garage until their house is finished. So I saw magicwx at work, and let me say, I was disgusted. The didn't use a lot of water to wash the car, hell they didn't wash the car they wiped it down. The guy sprayed "Spray wax" which i'm think is a QD, and the wipes it of with an old shamee. This was on the Bently. no rinse, nothing. made me sick to my stomache. Used an gallon bucket, not two. that had no soap, just dirty water. He then applies wax with what only looks like a dirty rag. while his guys are working on the rims, using windex. i was shocked. Nothing was rinsed. Went from a really dirty Prius to the Bently. I couldn't take it anymore. So what should i tell the boss? I can't downgrade myself? I don't know if they are allowed to have running water for washing cars, but i was really dissapointed by their old detail guy.

At this point the damage is done. The paint is probably full of cob webbing.

Washing it properly will only prevent additional cob webbing. See if you can convince your boss to let you polish the car. Ask him if you can do a test spot after a wash to show him the improvement you could make.

great idea mikeyc...
another way to do this would be to tape the car in half and polish one half. that way he can really see the difference!

hopefully he would let you polish the other half too, after seeing the comparo-
