I spray it on lightly and wipe it off with a microfiber towel. I don't get any streaking on the glass. It shouldn't take much of this stuff to protect from UV, it is supposed to bond to the vinyl and any extra can be wiped off before it sets.

All the posts in this thread which say 303 streaks are incorrect. It is not the product which streaks. It is the application method which is causing the streaks. The proper way to apply 303 to your top is to:

1. Spray 303 on to a sponge, cloth, or foam applicator NEVER spray the 303 directly onto your top

2. Use the now damp aplicator to apply the 303 to your top avoiding the window

3. Allow the 303 to dry for at least 20 minutes (I usually clean the interior or do some waxing while I wait)

4. Buff the top with a micro fiber towel to remove excess

If you follow this simple method you will not get streaks. This method is also recommended for applying 303 to your interior pieces. Although you only need to let it dry for about 5 minutes when applying to the interior. The problem is the instructions on the bottle are non-existent. However, the methods I recommend are those recommended by 303.

Cheaper than the place linked to, above. I've yet to place my order, though, so I don't know about their service. You can get both Raggtop and 303 from this site.

Well, that's were I was screwing up!

Although, applying the Raggtopp in the same manner, hasn't presented a problem.

Different products require different tecniques. Unfortunately, I also feel compelled to read the instructions when I buy a stereo too "press play to play your CD."

Seriously though Raggtop I've heard is great and I'm thinking of trying it. However 303 is great as well. You can't go wrong either way.

Even easier than that, just turn the car upside down, clean the ragtop, and let drip dry!

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Gravity kills... so does a convertible upside down....

The 303 can be applied to the dash and trim around the windshield, no problem. Aren't there leather inserts on the door panals?

There are definitely leather inserts in the door panel. They are the perforated part. According to 303 you can use their product on leather. However, I would use a product specifically made for leather instead.
