Just another note. I have a bunch of microfiber mittens that I use with my car soaps to wash the cars they really are the best thing out there right now. My local shop has some of the towel ones but I just bought extra mittens that I use only to dry and buff the car.

I just received the microfiber towels that I had ordered.

Should I wash them before I use them?

I didn't wash mine first. I think that I would try them and see how they work.

I've always washed them first and then trimmed the tags off. Wash with liquid detergent and do not use a fabric softener or dryer sheets. It's also best to wash them along, because of the static that will be generated. Enjoy !

I washed mine & removed the tags prior to first use!
Always wash them only with other micro fiber towels. Only with liquid detergent.
And, it's best to air dry them!

I have dark purple towels. Do you think they will bleed in the wash?

I bought one to try to get better cleaning results on my cars glass windows.
To quote the tiger "there greeeaaaaat".
I will try them as a replacement for the artificial chamois when drying the car after cleaning..
