Here's a quick spoiler shot of the M Coupe (with my car in the background... I always sneak it into my detailing shots And you can see the M owner's 06 NFR in the reflection of his M coupe). The color is called Evergreen, and only 130 or so were made of this color. I thought the car was simply stunning:

i wish i had that much time... hey.. i might go claybar my car todaaay.. yay.. any tips for a beginner?
Claybarring is a very tedious process. Make sure you're using enough of the lubrication at all times so that the clay never touches the paint when it's dry. If you go too long and don't spray enough lubrication, the contaminants that the clay has picked up with start scratching into your clear coat! Once the clay starts to get a little gummy, I put it in my "non-paint surfaces" pile. I use this stuff for windows and wheels. Only fresh pieces should be used on the paint. HTH!

Yep, mine is in the back and the M owners 06 NFR is seen in the M's reflection. My driver's side is a bit weird looking, as the side "s2000" logo is still on and the diffuser is still amber. The driver's side has a shaved logo and clear diffuser. lol... don't ask

BTW, his M has intake, chip, exhaust, and racing spec clutch and puts down 287 to the wheels I got to reverse it about 20 feet down his driveway

Thanks so much for the compliments guys, it means a lot to me. As for the "little details" I referred to, I just meant that I take the time to really get into the nooks and crannies that people don't clean usually. For instance, I clean the entire black plastic wheel well on every car I detail. All of the rubber trim around the doors is cleaned, and the painted surfaces you see when the car door is opened is also treated.

When I do S2000s, somoetimes I'll take out the seats (I carry around a rachet with 12mm and 14mm nuts with my detailing gear ) and vaccuum underneath them. I clean behind the gas door, around the trunk trim, etc. I'm a little obsessive compulsive in some ways and perfection in cleaning things is just one of them for me.
Great work Justin! Your details get better every time. Also, I really like your explanation of "little details." Doing these things is really what sets apart a detailer from a car washer. I do these things as well in my details with the only exception being removing the seats. The only reason I don't is I don't want to accidentally cause damage to the car while removing/replacing the seats or by stripping a bolt. I just don't want to be responsible for repairing that.

Again, great job on that car. Your arm must have really been sore after 4.5 hours of claying.
