Default My First Clay Bar Attempt...

I finally bit the bullet, and bought the Meguiar's Clay Bar. I washed the car, then clayed it, then finally used their cleaner wax to seal the deal.

All I can say, is what a difference. The entire package was well worth the 5 hours I spent in my garage today.

Pictures will be taken tonight by my friend, I will post them here ASAP.

Here is one picture.

**Please ignore the wax I missed.**

In the end it's always worth it after you see the results. Although claying isn't required too often. Can't wait to see the pics.

haha cool, another one now using clay!

For some reason a few people who i've recommended to use clay (because their paint was in dire need of it) tried it out and just won't touch it again. They keep saying the sound and feel of the clay makes feels like it's scratching the paint more than helping it heh. I can't seem to convince them otherwise. They seem to ignore the fact that the paint is in fact smoother.

Just got in from getting some pictures. I do not know whether or not he will send them to me tonight or tomorrow. But I think the car looked good.

I just tried the Meguiars clay bar a couple weeks ago and also liked the results. I was surprised at how much crap was lifted off of the paint!

Did you squish both bars together into one big blob, or just use one?

I used just one, and luckily, I friggen' dropped it right when I finished. :-(.

It probably needed to be disposed of anyway. It was disgusting from the amount of junk it took off.

Haha as soon as I pulled into my garage, I began kicking myself. It's on the lower part of the door, AND behind each mirror. I felt like a complete moron.
