Talking My First machine polish.

well, I got a machine buffer at last.

This was done with a very soft pad, and very light abrasive.

More learning that actually repairing, but still difference was greeat, cant wait to get a proper crack at it.

I think i have the bug

Which machine did you buy, and what pad/polish combo did you go with for your first time?

I will find the name of the buffer for you, i went to my friends bodyshop and tryed 2 or 3 out with him, and he ordered the one i liked in for me. But ill find the box for you.

Its a machine buffer, not a random orbital buffer, but i prefered it, and rumor has it you can get a better finish with a set axis buffer ? any info in this ?

I used the softest foam pad, and the lightest scract remover, and only gave each section 2 pass's

I would rather have lots of swirl marks left than no paint.

If done proper, you can do a swirl removal on a car 2-3 times a year for 10 years and still have paint. ...depending on the car that is, BMWs....longer than 10 years
