Default Need help with tree sap/crap

My S spent a rough week under a tree in the city and after my wash I am left with spots of sap or whatever the tree left behind. Prior to the droppings, I have had 2 coats of Zaino Z2 on it.

I had a little bit of success removing some of the residue with my clay bar, but would not be too excited about re-claying the whole car. Is their any product I can use?

What should I be doing? Help!

I would try an adhesive remover, depending on the amount of sap on the car.
3m products work well.

It probably will remove your wax/polish on the surface, but will not hurt the clear coat or paint. You might ask Phil at Detailersdomain what he would recommend for tree sap.

My clay bar took all of it off. Phew.

Now the S is tucked in for winter

what lubricant did you use with the clay bay? in my experience clay and water or an ipa 50/50 solution works better than clay and qd at removing tree sap.
