the other extreme is "hand wax"- a lot of work... and very few pros have time for this either. i have been hand waxing my wifes honda bike lately. you warm the wax in your hands and then dig out small amounts and work into your fingers. then rub into the paint. its a whole lotta work, and only for the really wacko wackos among us. i have to admit you do get a different experience "feeling" your car with wax!!
I had Ben at http://www.carnaubawaxshop.co.uk send me a "Collector's Pack" of Rubbish Boy's Original Edition and Juiced Edition, and so far, I've used the original one. Which calls for applying with your bare hands.
It has to be said, that felt a little, well...a little weird, basically massaging my car with my bare hands. Sort of goes on the list of reasons I know I'm a wacko.
I know you guys will want pictures, and unfortunately, the weather hasn't been agreeing with me here in NC to do much of that. But I will say this - RBO absolutely demolishes the zymol Carbon I've been using for years. It's not even close. There's sort of a warm glow to the car now, and the metal flakes in the paint actually look like they're larger. It's amazing stuff, and well worth the money to get it shipped over here from the UK.
