Default Need More Advice

Can any of you guys tell me what is next for me on supplies? I have used the Menzerna IP and FPII and love them!!! I always follow those with the Klasse twins finishing with P21S. What is next for me? I don't really want to do the Zaino thing either. Is there more or did I achieve the "perfect shine"? Also, this may sound like a stupid question but I have never used my red or black finishing pads. Would using them with any of my products improve results? They are the CCS pads. Thanks guys.

Since you're using the Menzerna line for your polishes, have you thought about using FMJ as your sealant instead of SG? Honestly though, as long as your surface prep is good, you're not gonna get better results from switching to a different wax. 90% of the shine comes from good surface prep (IMO )

Which pad are you using for FPII? When I use my PC, I prefer using a white light polishing pad with FPII because it finishes out just as well and has a LITTLE more cutting ability than a finishing pad.

On a rotary, however, I find that it's better to use a finishing pad for FPII. Anything more abrasive than that tends to leave holograms and doesn't finish out as well

My prep was thorough!!! I always use a white polishing pad with FPII and Klasse AIO. I LOVE the results but I just wondered if there was more. On my Prelude and my wife's 07 Accord I just finished with SG over AIO, Menzern IP and FPII. I noticed the difference of depth on my S2000 because of the S2000 topping them so they are all going to get P21S.

So basically I wasted my money buying anything finer than the white pads? That's what I am thinking.

You could use them to apply your wax or sealant. I also like to finish out my polishing session by doing one pass on the car with a finishing pad and a finishing polish. I feel using such a fine level of polishing really kicks up the finish a notch. There's a guy on the Autogeek forums who refers to this as "jewelling" the finish.
