Default Not "Amuse"ing

Hey all,

I have had the dual titan exhaust on my car for several months now, and have a slight problem. Everytime I wash the car, I clean the exhaust, and while it's still wet, it looks okay, but after awhile I looks almost tarnished.

Anyho, not really the point. But what should I use to to polish the exhaust with so it can have the shine that it had when I got it.

Thanks,
Chad

As far as the polish to use I'm not really sure but I would think that after you get it all cleaned up you should throw a coat of wax on there.

No need to wax it. It won't be able to take the heat. A stainless cleaner like NEVR-DULL wading will do the trick.

are you talking about the discoloration? it's kind of dark and rainbow colored discoloration....if so i learned for cleaning stainless steel pots that vinegar works really well (don't know if it's applicable to this situation though so use at your own risk)

It's more like a dirty waterspot type film.

for my Amuse I use nothing but soap and water. The togue folks don't recommend any metal polishes for it
