Default Pad backing coming off

The backing that attaches the velcro to my P/C is coming off. What type of adhesives will glue it back together.

I think they are Lake. I had it happen with a black pad I use for Glazing last year. I think I used some sort of rubber cement. I just wondered if someone had a better idea.

you must be building up a lot of heat-
keep the pc 5 or below and this shouldnt happen again.
i did hear of a bad lake country pad batch awhile ago, where they were ungluing. but usually at higher speeds-

dont know what to use for a lake country pad glue, but am replying to move this back up

try gorilla glue.

also, are you soaking the pads too long to clean, and how are you drying them?

I would contact whoever you bought them from. Most detailing stores will stand behind their products and replace the pad at no cost to you.

Always run my P/C at 3 1/2 or 4. I hand wash my pads with Dawn dish detergent. Squeeze by hand(not wring) then pat with a towel and air dry.

I am not sure if the dawn eats away at the glue.
I dry mine on a clothes rack with the back of the pad facing up.
