I was told by a local guy who details cars that it may be possible to lighten the color of my passenger fender. It had been resprayed prior to me buying my car and its becoming an eyesore.

My car is a MY02 NFR.

Is this even possible or am I wasting your time?

that just looks like a horrible paint matching job, dont think polishing will fix that

 

That fender is NOT NFR! Pull it and have it resprayed by a quality shop...
