Paint Residue on Headlights....HELP!
Hey Guys,
I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I recently took my car to the body shop to get some paintwork done on my S, and when I got it home, I noticed that there was paint residue/overspray that got on my headlights and windshield.
I used Goo Gone and Rubbing Alcohol and it removed the residue from my windshield, but it doesn't seem to work on my headlights...probably because it's some sort of plastic, and not glass. I thought about using nail polish remover, but I think that might ruin the clarity of the lens.
Has this happened to anyone?
Does anyone know how I can safely remove this without ruining the clarity on the headlight lens?
I'd appreciate any solutions.
Thanks!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the response. Yea, there's a little bit of hazing, but not too bad. I actually researched a bit more on google last night, and heard that clay should work.
I think I'm gonna give that a try today. Thanks for the tip.

Go to the local autoparts store and look for Meguiar's Plast-X. Use that on your headlights. The headlights are plastic. Just try not to get this stuff on the paint, because of the abrasives. Hope this helps.
