Default Parking Outside

i'm getting a lot of work done to my house and my s2k has to take the backseat and park outside until next wednesday. so sad...

considering it has been parked in a garage ever since it drove off the lot, this shouldn't ruin the paint yea?

The cover is optional, I'd say - as long as it's not subject to tree sap, tree fallout, bird poo, etc... In other words, don't park it under a tree

A good coat of whatever is always a good idea to have on there at all times. Just leave the top up, make sure it's not in a high-traffic area, won't get too much direct sun and for a few days your car will be just fine. Maybe check it each morning and evening to make sure it hasn't received a fly-by bombing and clean it off quickly with some QD and a microfiber if it does get hit with a bird bomb.

I got snow tires on an extra set of rims. The S really rocks with the right rubber

So are you saying you bought the car and drove it to your garage and it has been sitting there since?
