you only need to wet the applicator pad if its new and you are breaking it in...
even then you dont really need to wet it- wetting it just makes the initial app a bit easier (until the pad absorbs). mainly on machine pads.
s100 is the cheapest and prob cheapest from your local harley dealer.
i use p21s and get it from the websites in the sticky at the top of this board (cost is not my main concern).
