Default Permanent Water Spots

I bought a set of Work VS-XX rims used and I love them but I only have one complaint really.
The lip of the rim on all four rims all have what looks like water spots. I've washed the car and rims many times but the water spots are always there.
Anybody know of products or a way to get rid of these annoying things and have a spotless lip? I've thought about just bringing them to a shop that paints/powercoats/ polishes rims, but I figure that method would cost a nice amount of money and time that I rather not spend.
I can get pictures of them tomorrow if necessary but I'm sure we all know what a water spot looks like.

Thanks for any help.

I tried the vinegar, nothing happened.
I assume u mean clay bar? I had some of that laying around too so i gave that a shot, nothing.

You cant feel the water spots, but they are all over the lips in plain sight.

I've tried Ealge One Metal Polish on BMW's Chrome Trim. No luck. *AWESOME Product BTW* I've tried hard core compund on PC7424 on Glass... No luck.

Water Spotting is freaking ridiculous at time, what could possibly get them off?
