Plastic window cleaners
I got this plastic and plexiglass cleaner at autozone made by blue ocean for $2.99. My window had 2 years of grime built up and it took it right off. I have been using plexus but never did the initial cleaning... works great!

I bought a can (about $8) and have been very pleased. It's like Plexus "Lite". Very easy to use and leaves almost no residue.

The metal polish is okay too because it contains no abrasives. Basically what I do is put the material on a cloth then rub it into the window. Let it dry for about 2 min. and scrub (and I do mean scrub) it off with a clean towel. It's a pain in the rear to clean and there is no easy way.
try mcguires cleaner and polish, it works great. i use a coat the other day and it was pretty clear. It's kindda hard to get the corners, but it works well. two bottles for $15 bucks at a local marine shop.
