Polishing set
Hey guys i'm about to start my first polish on my car. I would appreciate it if someone could just give me a quick complete list of stuff to buy. That includes pads, porter cable, etc. Thx!I also have another question. I see people use blue tape on their head lights. If i wanna polish those too, do i still need to cover them up. Or do i have to use some other products with a different pad? And would i need to clay bar it too?
the answer to your question really is a lot of opinion...
that said, imo menzerna is the polish of choice. you have the pc on your list already.
you can pretty much get what you want from our sponsor- here are his pads:

i will also ask him to hit this thread. he probably has not yet because he cant find our forum!!
tape is so you know where to stop. i have never taped, so its a personal thing. i am just careful at the edges.
have you seen our how'tos? at the top of our board... they have a great how to polish the headlights.

The paint is in good condition i guess. There aren't a lot of noticable swirls. My car is silverstone so it's kinda hard to see. I had the car for a year and i never polished before. I have only washed it and clay bar and wax. I guess it's about time to do some polishing! Is there anyway i can get my orange peel off my car?
