So you think it would be safe to use something as mild as Final Polish II once or twice a year for the life of the car to keep it looking 100% even on super soft s2000 paint? In my past research this is what i concluded i just wanted to get your opinion. I even bought a paint gauge to measure what i took of on my paint however I did not measure before my one and only major polish so i don't have anything to compare the numbers to.

Yeah, you'd definitely be ok polishing a couple times a year with that polish. Im not sure that polish would even remove light swirling..never really tried it FIRST so I dont really know how much defects it can remove on its own..

 

I'm all for 3m as I worked in many body shops.

Which vendor has the best price on these right now anyone know or care to post/Pm that info? I bought a Silverstone s2k just because I know how tough black is but, everything else I own is black!

This looks good enough to correct 3000 grit from wetsanding as well. Have you had any oportunity to try this porcess on newer paint?

 

Final Polish II should be fine a couple times a year. It is probably the mildest polish you can buy, and is designed to remove holograms and very light defects from soft paints
