Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought that blowing compressed air (eg from an air compressor) on oil has a chance of igniting the oil. In that case I would not recommend using an air compressor to blow air on your wheels.

i think that is under pressure or heat... dont think that there is too much risk of the leaf blowers igniting our wheels-
but agree that we should be careful with all tools.
woops...
edit: just noticed that you said compressor instead of leaf blower- still probably o.k. if you are careful.
