So just to clairify i just need to buy the protectant, not the cleaner correct? also should i buy the fabric or vinyl protector? thanks.

You don't have to buy the cleaner. However, I like to use it to remove stains like sap from the top. Also, definitely make sure you are getting the vinyl protectant. There is only one cleaner if you should choose to buy that as well.

You can also use the vinyl protectant on exterior trim and tires. I really like the finish and it tends to be pretty durable.

Depends on who you ask.

Some use 303, some use Lexol.

Yes, 303 is a brand of car care products. The vinyl protectant is very popular and is often used on vinyl convertible tops.

I have used both 303 and Ragg Top and wrote a thread about my thoughts on the two not too long ago.
