Default Rear Window, and Polish question

First, my rear plexi-glass window is hazy and hard to see out of how do I clean this?

Second, Are there any polishes to remove spider webbing that can be applied by hand and not with the use of an orbital?. I dont know if I would get that much use out of a porter cable to justify spending the money on it. Yes, granted it would be easier but I have time to kill.

Thanks any input would be appreciated!!

A porter cable will get better results than you could ever get by hand. I tried for years to take swirls out 100% by hand. It never happened. Maybe it was just me. I got my PC and in about 10 minutes, my hood had absolutely no swirls in it.

You say your rear window is plexi-glass. Do you mean plastic? They didn't make an S2000 with a plexi-glass window unless I'm mistaken. The plastic does like to get hazy. I hit it with Micro Polish and my PC for about a minute and it looks better than new. Only thing is, I had to do the inside and outside so it was a little more difficult.

Hope this helps bud! If you have any other questions, there are a lot of helpful, experienced guys on this forum who would be happy to answer questions. The more opinions, the better.

Assuming your referring to the plastic rear in '00 & '01, you can try Plexus and microfiber. I don't believe Plexus has any abrasives so it may not solve your problem as it is the least aggressive product.

After Plexus, I've had luck with Novus products. My experience it is a pain in the @ss to get the haze out. The contortions required to get you to the inside, bottom corners will keep your chiropractor in business for years. However, these products seem to work.

You should be able to find both Plexus and Novus products at a decent marine supply store. Some decent auto parts places may carry them as well.

www.novuspolish.com

this stuff will work great on plastics, especially the plastic rear windows for the top.

I did a 2000 s2k with this and a PC and it came out great.
