Default Remove water stains from wheel

Not sure how this happened, but somehow I got water stains on one of my Volk wheels that I can't get out. None of my other wheels have this problem. I tried turtle wax wheel polish, but that didn't work. Any ideas?

If those are hard water spots try vinegar and water. Probably like a 50/50 mixture.

Im 90% sure that it has clear coat on the polished part so I would recommend using some clay bar first and see if anything come off. It should work pretty good. If it doesn't work then use some rubbing compound, the more easy ones to buy are the ScratchX etc from Walmart or if you have any Meguiars 105,205 etc that works even better. It should take it off pretty easily.

From the dead...

I just got around to trying to fix the aforementioned issue. I've been using Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish and after about 2.5 hours of elbow grease I got most of it off. I'm debating on trying out the mini Powerball but I'm concerned about getting the polish on the painted areas. Has anyone attempted anything like this before?

For future reference, the stuff on my wheels was oxidation. When you remove it with aluminum polish, it comes off black. Look how much came off of one just one wheel:

Now you need to apply a sealant to keep the oxidation in check and help keep them clean.
