Not to poop on your picture but all cars parked in the shade that are clean look pretty much like that. Its all in the prep. I still think Z8 is ZHype. Just like Z5 is suppose to fill minor swirls (the swirls must be invisible to the eye). Don't get me wrong, protection along with shine Zaino is tough to beat. I have almost the entire zaino line and use it on all light colored vehicles I detail. But after prep, Gold Class Liquid wax will look the same, maybe even better!
I will be detailing a black 2005 3 series bmw this saturday. Washed by a chic with a kitchen sponge so there are plenty of swirls. If it was my ride I'd souveran it, but since its not and I know it won't be protected for a long time. I will Z2 it, then I will Z8 one side and Z6 the other, tell me which is which. I can provide you with a 18MB Tiff if you want.

It's SO in the prep. I polished up a section of the hood on my WRX (by hand, mind you) with IP/#80/RMG/#16 and I can't tell a damn bit of difference between that section and the rest of the hood (6 coats of Z) unless I catch it in the right light... and then I can see that I polished out some of the imperfections
Otherwise, it looks damn good. I've got a gallon of Final Inspection (#34) that I use to QD everything and will be picking up a gallon of Last Touch when this runs out. For $20, it's hard to beat. I think Last Touch actually gives a better glossier look than Final Inspection. Sort of the Z6/Z8 deal, but Meguiars.
I guess I noticed increased slickness with Z8 on the S, but it's hard to tell after all that prep Your eyes kind of see what they want to see. Maybe we could measure it with the right equipment...
Prep is the biggest wetness inducer on automotive finishes. On women, too, come to think of it...

At the time these pictures were taken, neither hood had any wax or sealant on it. Just correctly polished paint. The car's finish qaulity is mostly in the prep. Here's my 97 Buick Lesabre. Used the rotary on this one.
Here's my s2000 hood after a 2 hour polish last night. Just Optimum polish with an orange pad and a PC. I used Zaino Zpc after the Optimum polish and it hazed the finish. You could see a distinct line down the hood between the two. I had to redo it with the Optimum polish and a white pad.
Same reflection of the light on a car with swirls and scratches. I couldn't get the camera to pick up the distinct reflection of the light bulb even on manual focus.
