RIDS after 2 passes with M105/Wool
Like the title says, got a NFR AP1 where I have tried everything I have in my arsenal. M105/wool is the strongest combination I have currently, and its still not getting rid of quite a bit of RIDS in the paint even after a few passes. Whats next? As far as I know, this combo is pretty aggressive especially on Honda paint. Should I just inform the customer that its as good as I am going to get it without spending quite a bit more time on it?
If two or three passes isnt taking out the swirls, Im guess the next step would be wet-sanding or purchasing an even more aggressive polish?

M105 is pretty damn aggressive. What else is stronger than that? Maybe the rids are that deep? Make sure you aren't going too far down ( I know you know what you are doing). How much of a catch are you getting when rubbing your fingernail across them?
Does it look like they might have gone all the way thru the clear?

I got it down to a "pretty good" finish uses SIP/Wool and then following up with SIP/Orange for a REAL LONG time. Still not perfect, but yeah these things are DEEP. They are not so much scratches, with an edge, just SUPER deep swirling. I guess Ill just have to live with it not being 100% perfect, it is still about 90% better than it was.

billy please stop!! What you have is not rids but is the micronsring from the aggressive combo you are using. Make sure to finish all the way down on one panel before going to wetsanding. Try sip+white and see where that gets you as a next step. If you are using 105+wool on hoda soft clear, this is going to be at least a 4 step job

Ill give that a try, but I dont think it is what your saying it is. The camera may be portraying it a different way than i see it in person. It is simply just left over deep swirls in the paint. I am definitely finishing down all the way. I am not going to be wet sanding this car.

Let it go. Some cars you'll just never be able to get perfect, even with wet sanding. I own such a car that I bought used.
Clear coat piting from what i've been told was done by a water sprinkler in the blazing sun. I'd have to take the clear down so far to get rid of these that I wouldn't have any left.
