Default Scraped a wooden post

I scraped a wooden post with my Nissan Titan a couple days ago. It seems like the scratches are easily coming off with the tip of my finger nail. I washed it with some soap and it seemed to be taking more and more of it off.

What's the best product to use in my situation to take the remainder off?

If you scraped a post there is probably some paint transfer which is what is coming off the easiest. Start by washing, then use a clay bar, then Scratch-X (apply several times if necessary), and then top it off with some wax. Likely there will be some scratches that will not come out, but it will definitely look better.

scratch x is good for really small stuff... and you gotta work it really hard.
any other swirl remover would be fine for a hand app - depends on the size of the area that you are working. i prefer the machine for just about anything- even small areas... but i know its a pia to set up and take down. the machine still does better than i can by hand

got any pics?

Yer - I was just playing with my signature and grabbed a pic / any pic (happened to be this one) to try something out. Never really messed with my signature bit before and was just playing. I thought I had removed it after I had finished but obviously hadn't - removed now though

Sorry i would never have taken someone else's work to use as my own without asking you first.

Apologies!

Rob

I wouldnt even go as far as scratch X. If your nail is taking it off, means its residue. Give it a quick run with a clay bar, maybe a bit of scratch x action, then a light wax, and youll be as good as new.
