Default Shift boot

Is our shift boot leather ? I was looking at Ricks they look pretty good. But for some reason i was thinking that the OEM boot was too.

no, the stock one is vinyl. It's been reported before on this site and also says it on rick's site where he describes his leather replacement.

Let's clear things up here...

As far as I know...the AP1 has a vinyl shift boot while the AP2 has a leather one. The rick's shift boots are nice though...just don't go buying one simply because you want to upgrade to leather...you already have leather.

wow, I stand corrected. Good catch guys. I just assumed the material for the boot stayed the same.

AP1 = vinyl
AP2 = leather
