Side by side and dust
I searched all the threads here and couldn't find this. I recall a photo here a while back of a car which had one side Zaino'd and the other side California Gold'd after driving through some dusty conditions. The Zaino side was grey with dust while the other side wasn't. I can't seem to find the thread any more that had this pic. If anyone has it or knows a link to it, can you post it below?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Not sure if this is what you were looking for but one side is Zaino and the other side is MALMS. Pretty similar no?

Very good comparisons btw, others may want to check it out.
P.S. In the end he liked Klasse/P21s the most. He was a former Zaino owner but he found ease of use on the Klasse plus he felt Zaino attracted too much dust on a darker (black) car.
I tried Zaino once, PITA, and it did seem to attract a lot of dust (not sure how much compared to others, I only used it once, hardly a scientific test).

Hey thanks! That was the link I was looking for. I still use Zaino on my (black) S2K. I think many people argue that NO, it doesn't attract dust, but my unscientific opinion is that it does.
I did consider the possibility that it's not the Zaino material, but the action of applying it, but the pic on that link argues against this. Both sides of that car should have been rubbed the same way to apply the material.
Anyway, I still like the way it looks when freshly applied and I don't mind washing my car when it gets dusty. I know I could just use detailer or a duster but it's just not the same.
Anyway, thanks for the quick response!

I used Zaino on half my trunk and #26 wax on the other half when I first bought my car. I drove around for 3 days. No difference in dust or dirt. When I did get dust from just sitting in my garage after that, the Zaino side was much easier to get off with just an MF towel.
