Silver S2000 and Zaino?
Well,
I just spent like 80 bucks on a bunch of Zaino stuff. Can I ask all the silver S2K's owners who use Zaino out there to be so kind as to chime in on how good I can expect my baby to look? I've seen pics of red, black, and yellow cars that look spectacular, but I'm not sure how much better a metallic paint will look.
appreciate it!
Also, if you happen to have StonGard also, I'd appreciate any comments on the interaction between the two products (lines at the boundary, applying on top of the Gard, etc)

I don't have silver, but I can tell you with certainty, as can a lot of other people on here, Zaino will give you the best shine, truest color, best protecting finish of any product out there. Very easy to use. You will be very pleased with the results.
I don't use Zaino so I couldn't tell ya how it would look. I do have the 3M film and the polish does form a white line at the edges of the film and takes some effort to clean it up. After a couple of washes, it dissappears anyway so I don't get too anal about it. I don't polish the film since it's protecting the protector so I don't bother. The edges of the film that does get the polish from overlap doesn't look any different than the rest of the film.
I have a silver that has two coats of Zaino and it rocks!!! It definitely enhances the shine and makes the clear coat look like glass. A side benefit is that it is real easy to keep clean. Sorry that I don't have any pics to post, but trust me, it looks great!

I also have silver and use Zaino -- bro, it's the best car care product I've ever used. Period. And during college, I earned extra $$ by detailing cars.
Zaino system on all the paint, 303 Airospace on the interior and top (because the top is vinyl), and Plexus on the back window -- that's all you need for a perfect looking car. (And by the way, I also use Zaino on my chrome 18s, makes them shine, baby!)

Mine is silver and Zaino kicks major ass. The only trouble I have is I am too busy at work right now to put on another coupla coats.
My best buddies use Zaino on their Porsches (brand new Speed Yellow Boxster and 1986 Carrera Targa) and both swear by it as well. The Targa guy has about 10 coats and it is simply incredible.

Thanks for all the replies! I haven't waxed my S2K in about 2 weeks now, since I'm getting the Zaino stuff pretty soon. It's really hard to refrain from doing it, since I've been driving it pretty hard lately, and I've washed it about 4 times in the last 2 weeks.
Too bad they wouldn't take my order over the phone... now I have to wait for it to come in the mail
Thats OK. I'll just work on breaking in my new WRX instead
