Default So I cleaned up the TL-S today...

2007 Acura TL Type S in Nighthawk Black Pearl

OK, so I'm usually posting up work I've done on everybody else's vehicles. I decided to clean MY car up and test out some new products. I'll keep this post a bit more brief than usual.

I still haven't machine polished my car for the spring...it's been since last fall. If I get the chance to actually polish it this spring (too busy with customer cars), I can raise the gloss bar a bit higher.

Wash with Chemical Guys Wash & Clear via foam gun to strip existing wax.

Wash with Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild car wash. It was my first trial with this wash and I absolutely loved the stuff! Plenty of lubricity, smelled great, and didn't leave any residue. Very smooth and clean finish!

Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite pre-wax cleaner. This further cleaned the surface, and prepped it for waxing. This is a great product to work as a hand polish after washing, or claying, or just to give it an extra shine when waxing.

Waxed with Dodo Juice Supernatural carnauba wax. It's definitely not the least expensive wax on the market, but it's an unbelievable wax! Application and removal is super easy. Gloss, depth, and wetness is simply amazing.

Engine bay cleaned with P21S Total Auto Wash, and dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Wheels cleaned with P21S Wheel Gel
Tires dressed with Optimum Opti-Bond tire gel. Great stuff, matte finish.
Wheel wells dressed with Chemical Guys Fade 2 Black

Exhaust tips cleaned with Optimum Metal Polish

OK, now onto some photos.

i love your write-ups, process, and pics! glad u got to try some new things out. the dodojuice soaps look nice...but are just too pricey for me to spend on soap. maybe if i had a true garage queen.... so one day if i do get my 2001 lamborghini diablo i'll get some
i'm interested in lime prime, as i already have lime prime lite, because i think it be a good choice for a super-light polishing+gloss enhancer.

do you know which version of supernatural do u have? the early version 2's were very grainy feeling, but my full tub is a much smoother. i like the way it applies crazy thin very very easily. amost two thin. i've found i have to apply two layers minimum!

thank you for sharing as always

Thanks guys.

I have the Lime Prime as well, and may test it on on our Odyssey when I get some time. I too think it would be a good product for light polishing (especially if a quick polish by hand is needed).

I have the regular version of SN...smooth, silky, and applies very easily. Not quite as easy as Souveran, but not many are!
